Choose 5 numbers from the main pool of 1-70 and 1 further number, known as the ‘Megaball’, from a pool of 1-24 or select the QuickPick option (Quick+1). Once you have chosen your numbers, select which draw you want to play, either Wednesday or Saturday, and press ‘Submit’. Lottoland replicate the pay-out structure of the Official Lottery Draws in America and for this reason the total prize is reduced by 38% to make allowances for the tax Official winners in Tiers 1 to 3 would have to pay. Lottoland may pay out the Winnings in Prize Category 1 over 30 years (the “Annuity Option”).
The lump sum method will be paid out at 60% of the total value of the annuity amount. The annuity method will be paid as one annual payment being made for the 30 year term. The level of payments are calculated such that the payments rise 4% from year to year until the full sum has been paid out.

What are the differences between the MegaMillions and Powerball lotteries?
MegaMillions and Powerball are very similar in terms of format; for MegaMillions you choose 5 numbers out of a range of 1 to 70 plus 1 Megaball out of 24, while the Powerball is also 5 numbers but from 1 to 59 and an additional “Powerball” is drawn from 1 to 35.The respective odds of winning the jackpot are as follows:

Both games have an additional feature called the Multiplier and Power Play. The Multiplier feature allows you to boost the potential winnings on all non-jackpot prize tiers by up to 10 TIMES.
