To make it much easier for you, we’ve included each game by when it’s available for each day of the week.
Monday
Start the working week with a bang by playing Melate, the big Mexican game. If you’re lucky, you won’t need to go to work on a Monday ever again! Lots of hourly play games available too.
Tuesday
No dedicated games on a Tuesday, so why not use this off day to look at the big range of daily play Lottos if you hadn’t on Monday? EuroMillions Go is an instant game with hourly draws. You could try the KeNow games too.
Wednesday
Wednesday is no “Hump Day”, they’re more exciting than that because you can play the first of the American games with enormous jackpots. This is MegaMillions day and you could win hundreds of millions of dollars.
Thursday
Thursday is when the draw for the second big US game is – PowerBall. Again, prizes can top tens or hundreds of millions. Don’t overlook smaller games like the Latin lotteries. Smaller prizes but better chances of winning.
Friday
Take a break from the big games and head into the weekend with some lesser known lotteries like Hong Kong Mark 6 and the Italian SuperEnalotto. Never heard of it? It has some surprisingly huge jackpot prizes.
Saturday
Get your weekend off to a great start with another chance to play MegaMillions, but also the flagship European game EuroMillions with top prizes worth tens of millions. Also, the SAT Lotto among others.

As you can see, the weekend is big for lottery games but don’t overlook the brilliant midweek jackpots drawing on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. No longer have a miserable Monday because you could be down to win some brilliant jackpots with the South American games like the Mexican Melate and the Brazilian Quina. Every hour of every day brings something new, so you are never stuck for choice.
They come but once a year
These draws are not available every week. They come around once a year and you cannot play until the start date, usually a month or two before the draw. The best things in life are always worth waiting for and that’s certainly true of the below games.
No doubt you have heard of the world-famous Spanish Christmas lottery El Gordo which draws on 22nd December with an incredible $4bn prize pool. Each year, thousands of people claim prizes with the jackpot spread out over thousands of players.
El Gordo – Spain’s famous annual lottery twins. The first and most famous is the Christmas Lottery, the other is the summer counterpart.
Did you know that El Gordo also has a summer counterpart called El Gordo Summer? It’s true, it takes place in early July and it called El Gordo de Verano - the spanish Summer Lottery.
Spain is no stranger to annual lottery draws. On top of the two El Gordo games, they also have an annual New Year game called El Niño. Prize pool is dwarfed by El Gordo just a few weeks before it, but you can still win some incredible prizes with a total prize fund of $1.1bn NZD.
While we’re on the subject of New Year, Brazil is home to the world famous Mega, a draw that takes place every New Year's Eve. Top prize is typically $174 million NZD jackpot.
